Verdict
A chance is taken with LONDON TIMES ahead of Special Branch Ami and Art Trend. There isn't a great deal of form to go on in the opener and that of the selection isn't great as he was well held at Cheltenham. However, that wasn't a bad race, the run should have brought him on, conditions should suit and the stable has a decent record in the race. Art Trend is sure to be popular following his debut in what could turn out to be a fair race at Wincanton but conditions may not be ideal for the former Peter Chapple-Hyam trained gelding who did weaken tamely on that occasion. Helium is an interesting import from France but may be best watched on his first run for new connections given that he has to concede weight all round. Of the remainder, the one that appeals most is Special Branch Ami who only had two starts on the Flat but hinted at possessing a good bit of ability. It's always encouraging to see McCoy booked for the yard and he's sure to have been well schooled but we'll take a chance with London Times finding the necessary improvement.
