Verdict
A competitive starter and STATUTE BOOK is chanced at the likely odds with Wickedly Fast and Smalljohn the others to make appeal. The selection shaped with a degree of ability in a recent Kempton event and with the trainer in such good form of late, we can anticipate a decent run at a fair price. Wickedly Fast has chances of reversing form with Svindal on their last meeting. The useful Matthew Davies can make his 7lb allowance count. Smalljohn makes a first run for Bryan Smart having left Declan Carroll. He won sellers and claimers at York and Thirsk earlier in the year. Dead Cat Bounce is a half-brother to Bond City and could literally be anything. Zepnove did not build upon a victory in a Dundalk maiden though has to be noted in the market granted connections. Miss Kadee ran fourth in a Bath maiden at odds of 100/1. This looks to be the correct level for her. Kinigi has looked in need of a step up in trip so the market is watched closely today. Statute Book is likely to be a decent price and is recommended to small stakes.
