Verdict
Bryan McMahon's Withorwithoutyou has found one too good in each of her two starts to date and should be there again here but is not certain to stay the extra two furlongs today and we prefer to side with Spotlight, who gets the verdict over Lady Georgina. The selection ran a race full of promise on her debut at Newmarket, staying on third behind Red Bloom, and with improvement to come she looks the one to be on. Lady Georgina has shown plenty of ability in two starts so far and has obvious claims. She rates the main danger. The newcomer Shooting Lodge looks the pick of Sir Michael Stoute's two runners and could be interesting, particularly if the market speaks in her favour. Barry Hills has his team in good form at present but his representative Brindisi is bred to appreciate further and is probably best watched along with Hum, who was well beaten first time out. All in all, Spotlight has solid credentials and is taken to fulfil the promise shown on her debut.
