Several of these have claims including the consistent Tiger Frog, recent Bangor winner Good Potential and the David Wintle-trained pair of Awesome Wells and Storm Clear but preference is for Artemise. The selection, a winner at Wincanton on Boxing Day, disappointed on a return visit to the track the following month but has been given a break since and has solid claims. Philip Pritchard's Just Superb has claims on his best, as does George Margarson's Honey's Gift, who disappointed last time. Environment Audit has his first outing over hurdles this season but comes here fit from the all-weather and is another worthy of a mention along with top weight Merryvale Man but the vote goes to Artemise.
