In depth

Verdict

Uhuru Peak won well last time and may be capable of scoring again today, with Lord Chamberlain and New Wish rated as the main dangers. The selection won under today's pilot Serena Brotherton in a handicap at Redcar when he was doing all his best work at the finish. He just go up in the shadows of the post that day, so this step-up in trip should suit and he is given the tentative nomination in a tricky race for punters to call. Lord Chamberlain is from a yard in sparkling form and he suggested that his turn might not be far way when a good third behind Beauty of Dreams at Brighton last time. New Wish put up a cracking effort last time third behind Attorney and he was doing his best work at the finish. He is not an easy ride but he will be better over this longer trip and is respected. Tally is always capable of getting competitive in these type of events, while Fairy Monarch has a good jockey booked and is another with place claims. However, for the winner we will return to Uhuru Peak.
