In depth

Verdict

Francesca Cumani not only has the looks, but also displayed plenty of riding talent when winning a similar race at York on Saturday and she can have more success here with Terenzium, Gala Sunday and Adobe may provide most danger. Terenzum has taken a while to find his form but was quite impressive when landing quite a strong banded affair at Kempton in May. He gets in here on a very fair mark back on turf and a big run can be expected. Adobe looked on the way back to his best last time when a close up fourth behind Bold Diktator. He is ridden by a decent amateur and should be in the shake up. Gala Sunday was successful at Wolverhampton last month and should appreciate this drop back in trip. Meanwhile Lord Chamberlain cannot easily be ruled out and is another to consider for place purposes. However there could be more to come from Terenzium and this one gets a narrow vote.
