      Verdict

Miss Pitz has hit a rich vein of form and is on to the hat-trick after wins at Leicester and at Ayr yesterday. Martin Pipe's filly faces a rise in the handicap but qualifies to run in this event off her old mark so is well treated by the race conditions and gets the TEAMtalk vote. Tanganika is difficult to assess but clearly has ability judged on his comfortable all-weather maiden success but that was a weak affair and more is required here while Smoothie is held by the selection on Leicester form.
