In depth
Verdict
A race that lacks strength in depth and looks little more than a match between Platinum Duke and Compton Dynamo. The former has proved a most consistent performer and has been well placed to win nine times this term mainly at this level. Kevin Ryan's charge was badly drawn last time and the run should be ignored but may have to settle for minor honours against Compton Dynamo who rates the TEAMtalk selection. Gerard Butler's charge was unsuited by the testing conditions last time but has otherwise held his form well in better company and can take advantage of a significant drop in grade with conditions in his favour. Montecassino Abbey and Storm Clear are both fair performers but are likely to struggle with the selection on these terms.
