Verdict

MARIENSTAR has has returned to action in fine form and followed a win at Worcester with a dominant display at Kempton. A penalty is unlikely to anchor Neil King’s mare in her current mood and the hat-trick beckons. Pulling Power opened her account over fences with a victory at Uttoxeter and there should be more to come from her while Black Tulip will likely improve having finished third at Worcester on her chasing bow. A dual winner over hurdles, Blackdown Hills tries her luck over fences for the first time and makes most appeal of the remainder.
