Further rain would make Westwood an interesting proposition but count against the hat-trick seeking Flying Applause. Neither Ursula nor Stevie Gee distinguished themselves in respective races at Ayr and Newmarket last Saturday but The Wee Chief has been knocking on the door and Silver Wind has won around here in the past and wasn't beaten far at Windsor 10 days ago, despite only beating home five of his 13 rivals. PICABO found disappointingly little off the bridle on her reappearance at Leicester but, on reflection, may have needed that run. She had decent form as a two-year-old and may be worth another chance to show she has trained on.
