In depth

Verdict

Very few can be seriously considered for this with Hurlingham favoured ahead of Colditz, Monachello and Zeeuw. Colditz could be considered based on his Ripon second two runs ago, but not on his Nottingham effort last time. The in-form Mark Johnston sends out the 150,000 euros purchase Hurlingham for his debut and he must be considered. Ditto Amanda Perrett's $50,000 newcomer Monachello. Zeeuw showed some promise over six furlongs last time and could well improve for the extra furlong and is not ruled out. Finally, Miss Silver Spurs has something to like on breeding but it would be hard to be strong on any of the others. The selection, once again, is Hurlingham.
