Verdict
Real Definition gets a non-too confident vote here over Kirby's Vic, Alfasonic and Round The Horn to name but three. This is yet another contest in which the public form is nothing special, but as it is impossible to gauge the merits of the newcomers, we shall side with Real Definition in the hope that he can add to his course and distance success. David Wintle's charge was put away after that win last March and is set to go hurdling. He was with Andre Fabre in France but apparently was too big to race and may now start to make up for lost time. Kirby's Vic, as the name suggests, is a son of Old Vic and hails from a stable that is adept at getting them ready in this sphere, and along with Alfasonic, fourth here on his debut and from an in-form stable, can give the selection most to do. Round The Horn should also be noted in the market, as should Seema who shaped well when third at Warwick. In an otherwise open affair, Real Definition is taken to defy his penalty.
