Verdict

A tricky end to proceedings, with Dusty Bandit only a tentative selection to beat a host of other possibles including Captain Flinders and He's The Biz. Dusty Bandit was noted picking up nicely in the straight when making his racecourse debut behind Control Man at Fontwell and should have learnt enough to go close at least. He is by no means a good thing though and Captain Flinders will push him hard. Henrietta Knight's seven-year-old, whose Exeter debut race has worked out well, lost his place next time at Kempton but was staying on to good effect in third. The drop back in trip is a slight negative though and he may have to pay second fiddle. He's The Biz has already picked up a couple of races of a minor nature but has a penalty to overcome as does Pipe's Henrietta who still looks the best oh his duo. All in all this is not an event to get too heavily involved in but a small stake on Dusty Bandit may pay off.
