Verdict
Fergal O’Brien won a division of this last year and his SPAGO has placed in both hurdle runs so far. He didn’t really threaten the winner on either occasion but doesn’t have much to beat in this. The mare Delgany Dreamer looks the pick of Dan Skelton’s two runners but Montregard looks a bigger threat on his debut third at Doncaster, where he made eye-catching late headway without being put under maximum pressure.
