Verdict

Fat Sam has been placing off higher marks over fences and Bucko's Boy was in good form last summer, though usually needs a run. Bashful Boy fell back over hurdles at Haydock but did win on the all-weather earlier this year. EVERYTHING’SONTICK is back over a more suitable trip having failed to stay 2m7f at Market Rasen. He ran well here in February after an earlier win at Chepstow. Soft ground may have been to blame for Artistic Choice’s poor run at Newbury but he has had a busy campaign whereas King Alexander has run just the four times and won his bumper here. Spring Meadow may enjoy this slightly quicker surface and is preferred to Maclaine and Gardener of the others.
