In depth

Verdict

Always a good race and Chapel Stile, a game winner at Carlisle last time is the sole representative of the north against a strong southern and midlands challenge. He should make a good fist of it but BOLDMERE has looked impressive the last twice when dominating decent handicaps at Leicester and Doncaster and is well worth his place in this Grade 2 contest. Dominateur houses similar credentials and has proved a real money-spinner for the Sherwood team and it's hard to seeing him not in the mix and Ardlethen has a decent shout too on the formbook. Just Your Type and Newtide need to progress but both are going the right way, especially the latter.
