Verdict
Chem's Truce comes here in good form and gets away without a penalty for winning a conditional jockeys event at Haydock. He ran well in defeat at Bangor off a 7lbs higher mark and back off his proper mark here, he looks the one to be with. On a line through Natural, Stormy Lord shouldn't be far away. John Wades gelding gained a deserved first success when disposing of Natural at Carlisle last month and is on the upgrade. Amarone struggled to win a moderate contest at Fakenham and he shouldn't be good enough in this.
