Verdict

After getting outpaced, Romeo Brown found a second wind at Carlisle and was staying on strongly in the closing stages. He could easily go one better here as he is still improving and is Sean Quinlan’s regular ride so not too much should be read into the fact that Adam Nichol partners stablemate Sakhee's City. All My Love caught the eye on the Flat last month and could go well at a price but Gortroe Joe seems best watched at present and The Knot Is Tied weakened quickly on his reappearance. Mr Scrumpy is lightly raced but steps up in trip so a tentative vote goes to MON PALOIS, who goes well fresh and return to action on a lenient-looking mark having been lightly campaigned last season.
