    Verdict

BADEN has run three times at Cheltenham and once at Punchestown since landing a point-to-point and this represents a huge drop in class so he should gain his first victory under Rules. Kafella fell at the first on his hurdling debut here but it did him no harm as he ran an excellent race behind the well-supported Report To Base at Uttoxeter with the remainder well behind. Monsieur Arkadin won a point-to-point and a bumper and may have needed the run on his comeback at Sedgefield, though he was well beaten. Quietly was always in the front rank when runner-up over 2m at Hexham but could only stay on at the one pace when headed. The longer trip should suit but, like the remaining trio, he'll need to find some improvement.
