In depth

Verdict

Bretney is potentially well treated but hard to catch right. Presenting Jeremy has left the Skelton yard since a third at Southwell but Not Sure goes on the shortlist having finished third here in the spring off today’s mark. Ernest Gray has scope going chasing for the first time but soft ground would be a concern. SOME SCOPE, another chasing debutant, won on good to soft over hurdles and won a point-to-point earlier in his career. He may offer more value than Chepstow runner-up Snowy Evening and the returning Bali Body.
