In depth

Verdict

INISHKEA is our selection with Island Fellow and Diamond D'Amour as the dangers. The Charlton family have traditionally done well with their bumper performers at the track and this debutant, who is a half-brother to a number of point winners could be interesting. As ever, the market will give us most clues as to what is anticipated. Island Fellow is a full brother to Turbo Island so realistically should have claims of handling this surface. Diamond D'Amour is a half-brother to winning hurdler and chaser, Diamond Frontier, so there is plenty of reason to believe that he will be winning races. Head Of Chambers is from a good yard though failed to even make a reserve of £1600 at the sales. Sheepclose was well backed on debut and obliged. He was ignored in the market when attempting to give away a penalty all around and ran accordingly. A tough getting out stakes without reference to the market and Inishkea is the call.
