tracked leaders in 3rd, ridden approaching 3 out, left 2nd last, kept on, no chance with winner
towards rear, pushed along after 6th, behind when pulled up before 3 out
led, headed 3rd, led again after 4th, ridden and headed approaching 3 out, soon every chance, driven when a length down in 2nd when badly blundered last, quickly pulled up and
always behind, pushed along approaching 4 out, left remote 3rd last, never dangerous
A field large in numbers but low in quality. Gielgud, Ashleybank House and Park Place are all sure to have there supporters but we prefer to stick with Caribbean Cove who won well at Bangor last time out. The gelding is from the Henrieta Knight yard iss a big scopey sort and he is sure to improve, and with conditions again in his favour he will be hard to beat despite his penalty. Gielgud was a fair second behind Xellance last time and rates the main danger with his stable still amongst the winners. Ashleybank House showed enough in bumpers to suggest he should be winning soon but this embryonic chaser may need more time. Park Place has definite place claims on his best form but his last victory came on his debut in May 2000 and he is readily opposed. Of there remainder Sister Anna showed some ability in bumpers and is sure to have been well schooled for this her hurdling debut and she could run well at a big price.
