In depth

Verdict

This looks wide open, but PARTICLE gets a tentative nod, ahead of Rocky Ryan and Changing Lanes. Peter Bowen does well at the track, but although Particle has yet to win in nine attempts over hurdles, but keeps getting involved. However, he may not be the most straightforward of rides, but first time blinkers could eke out the necessary improvement. Rocky Ryan is off a more manageable mark, and steps back up in trip after being beaten last time out following a success over further. He couldn't cope with top weight status last time out and was beaten well before the finish, but he's competitive again here. Changing Lanes steps up in trip and will appreciate fast going as he looks to lose his maiden tag at the 11th time of asking. He stays competitive with Dean Coleman claiming seven pounds, and Tim Vaughan does well here. Nothing would surprise us here as it's very competitive, but our preference is for Particle.
