Verdict

Bolodenka gets the confident vote in this novices hurdle with Tucker and Teach to Preach rating the main dangers. The selection has won off a mark of 95 on the flat, is sure to have been well schooled for this his hurdling debut, and if he sees out the trip he will be hard to beat. Tucker rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Norman Beckett but he pulled hard on that occasion and he will need to settle better if he is to score. Teach to Preach is another that has run with promise in the past and he will appreciate the return to this faster surface so he should be watched in the market. Sonara and Diktatorial hail from the Howard Johnson yard and are worth a cautionary look in the market but for the winner we return to Bolodenka who if he stays will be hard to beat.
