Verdict

There is little between last year’s winner Cornerstone Lad and PAY THE PIPER on Kelso running last month but the latter may just come out best again and it’s about time he was getting his head back in front. Amoola Gold was much more competitive over a longer trip here on Boxing Day but Richmond Lake may lack the experience to win a race like this and Witness Protection and Destined To Shine are both best watched returning from lengthy absences.
