In depth
Verdict
March Wind, a half-sister to two winners, has a nice pedigree for jumping. Chosen Hero is surely better than she showed at Lingfield and Houston Calling wasn’t unfancied on debut, though Hierachy fared better when second at Hexham last May. SWEET OR DRY’s dam won a bumper here on her debut and later scored over 1m4f on the Flat. She gets the nod ahead of fellow newcomers Inkwell and Jeune Belle, the latter being a half-sister to her stable’s bumper and hurdles winner Game On For Glory.
