Verdict

Zeb Spirit takes a fierce hold and had nothing more to give when challenged on the run-in last time at Market Rasen. The Fontwell winner also has a penalty here, though does set the standard. Cartmel winner Lady Shanawell can be forgiven a subsequent run at Hexham as her saddle slipped following an early error. Paricolor is a possible improver but Frankadore became disappointing on the Flat. GEORGE RIDSDALE’s dam was a stayer and Mick Easterby’s charge was lightly raced on the level. Paddy Brennan is a very interesting jockey booking as he tackles hurdles for the first time.
