      Verdict

      KING VIKTOR had more in hand than the winning margin suggests when outstaying Kabuto over 1m4f at Southwell and it will be a surprise if the runner-up reverses the form over the longer trip on only 2lb better terms. Fragrant Storm was well beaten that day but should have improved for the run. None of the others make much appeal with Norman Kindu due to run at Doncaster last night.
