Verdict
Mary Reveley has her hurdlers in top form and Icy River looks set to give her another victory, with Algarve and Mr Gisby set to fight out the places. Icy River got his head in front at the sixth time of asking when landing a modest handicap at Carlisle, the opposition here is a lot stronger but improvement looks guaranteed and the handicapper hasn¿t been too harsh. Algarve was also successful last time out when leading throughout at Aintree. Henry Daly¿s charge is lightly raced and is open to bags of improvement. The same applies to Mr Gisby, who returned from a summer break to comfortably take a novice hurdle at Fakenham. Course winner Bolton Barrie is another that could run well off a decent mark, however Icy River is chosen to leave his rivals out in the cold.
