Verdict

SOME REIGN blotted his copybook when refusing to race at Musselburgh last time. But he’d won at Kelso before that and is clear of today’s opposition on these terms if temperament doesn’t get the better of him. Bulkov looks the biggest threat on last month’s easy success at Sedgefield while Quest For Life could get also get involved if improving on a debut second at Market Rasen in October. Going Gold, Lisdoonvarna Lad and Just Bobby have all placed in bumpers while Taking A Chance was beaten by a subsequent hurdles winner in a point-to-point in Ireland back in March and debuts under Rules.
