Verdict
Haulani wasn’t entirely disgraced on his hurdling debut at Catterick and looks the pick of the three runners with jumping experience but this will probably go to a newcomer. Irish import Kings Inn runs for the Nicholls yard and will have had plenty of schooling. He cost 100,000 euros having finished second on his only start on the Flat but we prefer REDICEAN. A winner twice on the level at Redcar, he’s joined Alan King from David O’Meara and his new stable has won this three times in the last 10 years. Salix won on the all-weather in France but makes his Turf debut today.
