In depth

Verdict

Chatez was returning from a lengthy absence when running well on the Flat in October and any market support would be significant. Mister Malarky won a novice event over track and trip last month and looks to be progressing. Kayf Grace, another making her handicap debut, is still unexposed and so is Darling Maltaix, who had every chance when falling at the last at Taunton. Apache Song still looks fairly treated but is not as well handicapped as EDDIEMAURICE, who carries 4lb less than when finishing a close-up fifth in this last year and ran a very nice race on his return to hurdling at Ascot.
