Verdict
Micky Hammond is responsible for three of the eight entries and Caraline and Applaus are previous course winners. Uno Valoroso won at Bangor in December but has been found wanting off higher marks since. Lake Field has won at Newbury and Catterick this term but has looked in the handicapper’s grip the last twice. Casual Cavalier hinted at a revival at Newcastle last time and is now a pound lower than his last winning mark but GLANCE BACK probably has more scope. A winner on just his second start over fences, he’s only gone up 4lb and his rider claims back most of that. The luckless Pembroke House will probably have to settle for a place again.
