Verdict
A chase stuffed to the rafters with mainly disappointing types, though Blakemount is having his first run since finishing sixth in last year’s Scottish National. The wheels appear to have fallen off Goodtoknow and Nortonthorpelegend is woefully one-paced, though receiving weight all round. Dan Skelton won this last year but Wings Attract is having a first run for the yard following wind surgery. DUELING BANJOS was second off this mark at Exeter back in October. Things haven’t gone to plan since but he’ll have needed a recent spin over hurdles and could get an uncontested lead. Veteran Ganbei is on a career-high mark while this looks too short for Gonalston Cloud.
