Verdict

Sheriff Garrett is having a rare run away from Hexham but is back over his best trip. Haafapiece has run well here in three previous visits while Pagero had more in hand than the official margin suggests at Worcester. Mackenberg was a decent novice last season, winning three times, and Bourbon Beauty made all to win a mares’ Listed race at Newbury in March. RATTLE OWL (NAP) won at Sedgefield last month with the third landing a handicap off a mark of 115 at the same track next time. Jedd O’Keeffe’s five-year-old races off 120 in this so is probably fairly treated. Our Surprise also makes his handicap debut but never looked like winning on his reappearance at Fontwell.
