Verdict
Torrid Kentavr seems to have found his forte now and can win again at the expense of Double Blade, Maceo and Teme Valley. Ok, the selection has been raised eight pounds for his Plumpton win last time, but he displayed a nice turn of foot there, which is always a useful weapon to have in your armoury. Mister McGoldrick looks to have to do off topweight on his seasonal return and the tough Ei Ei can be depended upon to give his all, but Double Blade can be given a chance here. Claimed out of Mary Reveley's yard before his last run, he seems to be enjoying his new surroundings based on his Plumpton success last time. He is also a course and distance winner. He was formerly a stablemate of Maceo, who is also a course and distance winner, and, being just four pounds higher in the ratings for that Wetherby win, comes into the reckoning. Teme Valley can be given a chance too given his current rating but for us the selection is Torrid Kentavr.
