Verdict
A good field for this tricky two-mile event in which Henryianjames gets our vote ahead of Sir Storm and Young Whack.Going through the field. Batswing has winning form from his current mark, Chergan comes here in good heart but was beaten off this mark - a career high - at Aintree last time. New Bird, who is also a course and distance winner, also comes here in good form, although has a career-high mark to contend with, although she is ten pounds better off for the five lengths that Minster York finished ahead of her at Stratford on September 6. Sir Storm won well over course and distance on September 26 but was well behind Chergan at Aintree on Sunday, although that was over a half-mile further trip. Young Whack could be interesting in that he comes here on the back of a chase win at Listowel. He is reported to jump really well and might be worth keeping an eye on. Minster Glory and Henryianjames are closely weighted on their Bangor runs on October 11, although the last-named got the better of things when winning over course and distance when they met in May. It's a tricky contest, but we'll take a chance with Henryianjames.
