Verdict

COOTAMUNDRA looked all over the winner when cantering into the straight in a much better race at Punchestown last month but eventually found little and had to settle for fourth. This is much less taxing though Traffic Article, a winner between the flags at Inch, made a very promising return after a long break when runner-up to Clonard lad at Tramore. Minella Clonmel's debut effort at Gowran suggests he can do better while triple winning point-to-pointer Majestic Mayhem can surely improve on the form shown in his two bumper runs to date.
