In depth

Verdict

Mr Picotee has been alternating between hurdles and fences and bounced back to winning form over the smaller obstacles at Kilbeggan though he has an 8lb rise to overcome. Alterno made a successful debut here last March and ran well in a handicap here earlier this month while Hallmark landed a Roscommon maiden in August and has been unable to handle softer going in subsequent starts. Gordon Elliott has two entries and ORCHARD ROAD (NAP) looks the one to be on. An impressive winner at Limerick in December, he's fallen in two of his next three starts and slipped up in the other but a safe round can see him back in the winner's enclosure.
