In depth

Verdict

This looks tricky for punters and the market could prove a strong guide. Tipped Up Harry was a surprise winner of a handicap over the C&D in July and though looking out of his depth in strong novice company later ran better than could have been expected. Marshim started a short-priced favourite for a Tramore handicap after two very good runs at Listowel but he ran poorly and will need to bounce back. Ta Blazes also ran badly in that Tramore event after a cracking effort at Downpatrick. GOTHEN NIECE could be good enough to gain her first hurdling success as she has been running well on the Flat recently and with just three races over timber behind her could prove better than an 88-rated hurdler.
