Verdict

The four-year-olds look to hold sway here with DARK AND DANGEROUS taken to make it three out of four over timber. He has shown a fine attitude to his work and goes very well under the forecast conditions. He looks the safest option. However, there is a fascinating opponent in the form of Moujik Borget who arrives from France to have his first outing for the resurgent Venetia Williams team. Twice a winner in his native land, he was last seen when a commendable fourth in Listed company last June and is clearly of real interest here. Tannerman looked one to follow when second first time up in a large-field Bangor bumper but was most disappointing when tailed off behind African Broadway on his hurdling debut at Exeter. He is presumably better than that, whilst Nazreef should improve on what he's achieved in a couple of runs over timber.
