Lamps Return is given a chance to atone following a disappointing run last time and is take to beat Earth Man and Allumee. Alan King's six-year-old was in great form prior to finishing well behind Penneyrose Bay. There was definitely something amiss that day as she was never moving well and she is much better judged on previous efforts which included smooth victory over Cream Cracker over course and distance. Earth Man is making his hurdles debut, having gained victories in bumpers at Newton Abbot and Newbury, before getting well beaten by Karanja in a better event. He has to be respected in this company. Allumee has been running consistently well in modest company and should be vying for some place money. Best of the others could be old timer Venn Ottery, Lamps Return is expected to bounce back to her best and gets the nod.
