Verdict

Frodon has won 16 times over fences, the last 10 under Bryony Frost. But he is giving away lumps of weight to his rivals in this and stablemate Enrilo is probably better handicapped. The latter hasn’t had much luck, however, since disqualified after finishing first past the post in the 2021 bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown when finishing ahead of Potterman, El Presente and Cap Du Nord. Following a pipe-opener over hurdles, LORD ACCORD travelled strongly when getting back to winning ways over fences at Cheltenham and a 5lb rise looks manageable. Slipway was an improving stayer in the second half of last season and won the Highland National at Perth in April while Irish Prophecy was a close second at Warwick last time and also has a chance at the weights.
