Verdict

Kings Ryde is unexposed but faces no easy task on his handicap debut following a lay-off. Dan Skelton is double-handed with jockey bookings suggesting Clondaw Anchor is preferred to Stowaway Magic. Peak To Peak disappointed on his return from an absence and may need more time while Evidence De Thaix was tailed off when pulled up on her handicap debut at Chepstow. Champagne Champ can build on his sixth at Kempton and should go well and Silver Kayf could be interesting dropped back in trip but MYPLACEATMIDNIGHT remains in peak form and is reunited with Bryony Frost, who rode him to victory over course and distance in January. The top weight can resume winning ways.
