Verdict

Mont Segur had a subsequent dual hurdles winner behind when successful at Ludlow last year. He’s had wind surgery since and sets a decent standard in this, despite the extra 7lb. Jay Jay Reilly will need to settle better than at Market Rasen in September but has potential while Pasvolsky was second on the Polytrack at Lingfield on his debut under Rules. SILENT REVOLUTION represents the all-conquering Nicholls stable and is a half-brother to three winners. This is another race that Ditcheat has dominated in the past so he gets the nod. The Penny family own Earth Company, Earth Business and Earth Lord and Gallant Commander is another newcomer worth a market check on breeding.
