In depth

Verdict

CAPITAINE has never been an easy ride but has a touch of class and goes well fresh. He’s had wind surgery since last seen and may be capable of defying top weight if the operation has had the desired effect. Percy Street has often let down supporters but it looks a good move to return him to a more suitable distance. Irish Prophecy hasn’t had much racing and only weakened approaching the last at Newton Abbot but Magical Thomas has done most of his winning at Fontwell in this country. Romanor is preferred to The Twisler of the others.
