In depth

Verdict

The Detainee has shown promise in both starts over timber and arrives on a winning note having scored on the Flat at Windsor last month. He looks certain to go well but the concession of 4lb to COMPATRIOT may prove beyond him. Twice a winner at Wolverhampton in February, he looks to have plenty of scope for further progress and his yard remains in excellent form. Admiral's Sunset is rated higher than either of the aforementioned pair on the level though she's changed stables and hasn't run since October. Let's Sway was returning from a long break at Taunton last month and started 200/1 but belied her odds when only headed at the last and she's carrying a feather weight again with her rider's claim taken into account.
