Verdict

WALT’s victory at Fontwell 11 days ago was not unexpected and he impressed in the way he travelled throughout the race. The second didn’t do much for the form next time but the third is a decent yardstick and Neil Mulholland’s unexposed six-year-old can defy his penalty here. Ardkilly Witness hasn’t raced over hurdles since 2015 but competes off a lower mark than over fences. Wizards Bridge is also better known as a chaser but All For The Best showed he was back on-song at Sedgefield on Boxing day and should give a good account, despite a 6lb higher mark. Mondello and Farm The Rock may be best of the rest.
