In depth

Verdict

St Saviour looked as though he’d dropped to a decent mark when only beaten a head at Hereford. He’s been raised 2lb since but his rider claims 5lb. Unison was out of his depth in a Grade 3 last time at Ascot but had won earlier at Exeter and Doncaster and has a good strike rate over hurdles and on the Flat. FLORESCO has gone up 13lb since landing this 12 months ago but ran well at Cheltenham last month before finding 2m4f too far at Newbury and the cheekpieces could help him get back on track. Key To The West showed a bit more last time but is better over fences and Paddys Runner shows no sign of arresting his slump.
