Verdict
Shaadiva is given the narrow vote ahead of Adiysha in this weak Mares Only' contest. Alan King's charge finished third at Folkestone to Ela Jay and while connections were probably disappointed it is worth noting that the 104-rated Researcher finished two-and-a-half lengths behind in fourth. Adiysha was well fancied at Fakenham when second to Cool Roxy. It will be interesting to see if there is further support on this occasion. Barrosa has been well beaten in selling grade on the flat and over hurdles and faces a tough task at these terms. Mulligan's Fool had form in Ireland for Tony Martin on a softer surface. After a spell as a private trainer for Andrew Cohen, Alex Hales is keen to make his name in the wider ranks and any support should not go unnoticed. In a trappy contest of imponderables, Shaadiva is nominated as the selection.
